Volleyball! September 2020

Last week the volleyball girls traveled over and played Escalante. They ended up only having 2 teams, a freshman team and a varsity team. The coaches, Tacey and Rachelle, decided that we would switch off and play the freshman and the JV. It was a very close game, we would each win a game and then lose one. Wayne ended up winning both the freshman and varsity games. This first week of September they have two home games against Bryce Valley and Green River.

Volleyball at Wayne! September 2020

So I'm here to tell you a little bit about our volley ball team at Wayne High School. I would say we have one of the best volley ball teams out there because we use teamwork and respect to get things done. The volleyball team sees a problem and they work extremely hard to fix the problem. They always make sure that everyone is included and not to mention everyone on the team is super nice and welcomes anyone with open arms. Our volleyball team is extraordinary in how they work they use teamwork and that is so amazing compared to other schools.

COVID19 and Wayne High School

Since the unfortunate event of the Coronavirus, Wayne High had to assign many specific rules for the new school year! If us students and teachers can tackle these following procedures, everyone will stay healthy and ready to learn.

Students are now required to wear a disposable or cloth mask in class, in the hallways, and at sports events. Please wear it! It is not to protect you, it is to protect the people around you so they don’t get sick. (Remember to wear it over your nose and mouth) Students must also follow cleaning and social distancing procedures at all times.

Please follow these rules to keep yourself and others safe from the virus and have a great 2020-2021 school year!

Homecoming Dance WHS

Homecoming week was very exciting but it’s hard to decide what part was the best. For a lot of people it was probably Friday. The night of the dance. Everyone got dressed in their best semi-formal clothes and spent the time with friends and dancing. Most of the music was upbeat and lively, unless it was the occasional slow dance. The line dances and swing dances were a lot of fun too. Everyone seemed to enjoy their time together and enjoyed themselves greatly that night.
